Are you an experienced Engineering Manager with a passion for building high-performing teams and designing highly available, high-transaction systems? We are seeking senior consultants with a strong background in empowering teams and delivering scalable, mission-critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead engineering teams following the Empowered Teams model, similar to practices at Klarna, iZettle, and other leading tech firms.
Drive team autonomy, ownership, and accountability to foster innovation and rapid product development.
Design and implement highly available (99.999%) high-transaction systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to align technical strategies with company goals.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, ensuring best practices in architecture, development, and operations.
Key Qualifications
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar leadership role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as Klarna, Spotify etc
Strong understanding of Empowered Teams principles and experience applying them in real-world settings.
Deep expertise in operating high-availability (99.999%) systems handling high transaction volumes.
Proficiency in modern cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in fintech, e-commerce, or other high-scale industries is a plus.
