About the assignment:

Lead and manage fraud risk initiatives across our global product portfolio.

Collaborate with fraud strategy, engineering, data science, and customer service teams to enhance fraud prevention and detection measures.

Complete fraud reviews related to risk management across our card offerings and merchant fraud within our distribution partner network.

Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of structured and unstructured data to monitor fraud risk performance, identify trends and patterns, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Independent Control Testing: Perform independent control testing and process reviews to assess the adequacy of fraud prevention and detection measures in the first line of defense.

Regulatory Reporting: Assist in preparing regulatory risk reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with first-line defense teams, providing guidance on fraud risk mitigation and control improvements. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to report on fraud risk management performance.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the fraud risk management framework and collaborate with relevant teams to implement enhancements.

Market Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging fraud risks. Leverage this knowledge to ensure our fraud risk management strategies are up-to-date and effective.

Your profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fintech, banking, or consulting, with a focus on risk and fraud management. Proven track record in performing independent data analysis and leading fraud risk management initiatives.

  • Certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP), or similar certifications are highly desirable.

  • Skills:

    • Strong expertise in fraud risk management and data analysis.

    • Ability to perform independent control testing and process reviews.

    • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and risk reporting.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Experience with machine learning models and fraud detection algorithms.

    • Ability to create solutions for complex problems, recognizing key dependencies and business constraints.
