Detailed description of work task to be carried out
The ideal candidate for this position should have worked on data governance projects before. It would be beneficial if they are familiar with tools like IBM IGC and Orion Data governance tool. Knowing clients's data platforms and models is a plus. This job is for a senior or expert IT analyst, so we expect them to collaborate with data architects and business consultants to outline IT needs. They will also lead important meetings and workshops, create documents that outline technology plan to share with Senior Leaders.
Description of knowledge and experience
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the IT industry, with a focus on IT analysis and requirements management.
• Expertise in Data Governance, with experience in implementing technical/business lineage and managing data quality within the financial sector.
• Proven ability in working with multinational, virtual teams, and leading collaborative efforts across borders.
• Technical skills in data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop), SQL, ETL/BI processes, Data Analytics, and Data Modelling.
• Experience in working with IGC, ORION data governance or other leading data/business lineage software.
